Irrational ICB CHC decision
R (WND) v W&N London ICB [2026] EWHC 2356 (Admin) 16 September 2026.
A welcome judgment finding it irrational for an ICB to decide that nurse-led care for 24/7 each day was not required for a 13 year old with complex medical disabilities, a rare genetic disorder with symptoms including seizures, fluctuating muscle tone, learning disability, and communication and mobility disabilities and who is at risk sudden unexpected death in epilepsy.
